JOHOR BAHRU — ITMAX System Bhd (“ITMAX”), through its 65%-owned subsidiary Southmax Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM145 million contract from the Johor Bahru City Council (MBJB) for the deployment and maintenance of a smart traffic light system in Johor Bahru.
The contract runs for 20 years, until July 2045. It is the second award ITMAX has received from MBJB, further expanding the group’s smart city footprint in Johor Bahru.

The contract is expected to contribute positively towards ITMAX’s earnings and net assets per share.
