Telco infrastructure refers to the physical and technical infrastructure used by telecommunications service providers in Malaysia to deliver services to their customers. This infrastructure includes networks of fibre optic cables, cell towers, and other hardware that allow for transmitting data, voice, and video signals over long distances. Telecommunications service providers in Malaysia are a critical part of the country's economy and infrastructure, providing vital connectivity and communication services to businesses and individuals.

ITMAX is involved in the connectivity of cities, with the quest of bringing connectivity to all Malaysians. We are licenced by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC),

Where we are holders of:

  • Network Facilities Provider Individual licence [ NFP(I)]
  • Network Service Provider Individual licence [ NSP(I)]
  • Applications Service Provider (ASP)

These licences allow us to own and operate fibre optic communications networks and related equipment, telecommunications towers and monopoles, and bandwidth services. Additionally, we design and build network systems as well as interconnect buildings and devices to support our Public Space Networked Systems in creating a more convenient and liveable city.

FIBRE OPTIC COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK

We own a telecommunications network comprising approximately 400km of fibre optic cables in Kuala Lumpur.

  • The fibre optic communications network is configured in a high redundancy ring topology with optical signal generators, repeaters, routers, hubs, switches and terminations placed at strategic locations for data transmissions.
TELECOMMUNICATION TOWERS AND MONOPOLES

We own 17 telecommunications towers across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and Perak.

  • We construct and own telecommunications towers and monopoles at locations requested by wireless telecommunication companies.
  • We are responsible for obtaining all the necessary approvals and renting the space on which the towers are installed. We also procure the towers and/or monopoles based on specifications from third parties and subcontract out the installation work.
